I am a licensed clinician concerned with the assessment and treatment of children, adolescents and adults dealing with depression and anxiety. My goal is to provide a safe, caring, and supportive environment to help my clients develop solutions to their distress, build confidence and develop a healthy sense of self. Within the therapeutic relationship, treatment is an active process identifying goals that promote healthy life changes and builds upon existing strengths and skills.
My Education
I offer my clinical services to anyone who struggles through their life and are not sure of what is the solution. For 20 years, I have been working with cases involving depression, anxiety, self-esteem programs and parenting issues.
My education began at Boston College. I graduated with a BA in psychology in 1995. After graduation, I worked with children and adolescents on an inpatient psychiatric unit. This work experience sparked a passion for helping children and adolescents struggling with mental health issues. I decided to attend graduate school and was accepted at Boston College School of Social Work. In 1999, I graduated with a Masters in Social Work. My career path consists of several settings ( i.e. school, in home family therapy, residential and group homes and outpatient therapy setting). For the past nine years, I have been working in private practices focusing on working with individuals struggling with depression and anxiety.
